Young Fan With Rare Disease Cleans Up at Houston Texans Practice

It is not uncommon to hear stories about kids with rare and sometimes life-threatening diseases paying special visits to the practice field of different NFL teams. Yes, it is because teams have been accommodating and willing, but sadly it is also because there are too many kids having to deal with them.

Like a 11-year old Zachary who recently got to spend the day at practice with the Houston Texans.

The little man didn't know he was going to be hanging out with the Texans during practice one day last week. So when head coach Bill O'Brien called him and his mom over he was just a little surprised.

Rather than watch practice from afar he got to walk the sideline. Towards the end O'Brien called him over and introduce him to the team. This is where it got even cooler. He got to break down the huddle and hang out with the guys.

Where he cleaned up.

By time he walked away he had a pair of gloves from DeAndre Hopkins, shoes and a jersey (signed) from J.J. Watt, a towel from Case Keenum, and game ball from O'Brien.

Not bad right?

But what is even better will be the stories he is going to tell all off his friends and every doctor and nurse he sees each week when he goes back to the hospital for treatment.
