Auburn QB Nick Marshall Arrested on Drug Possession? [UPDATE]

Auburn head coach Gus Malzhan is probably going to (if he already hasn't) destroy his cell phone. Why? Because he is going to get tired of saying 'no comment' to all the people asking about the Nick Marshall rumors. What rumors?

Supposedly Marshall has been arrested for drug possession.

The information has yet to be confirmed, but according to the rumor mill on the World Wide Web Marshall was pulled over because the tint on his windows was too dark. Upon his approach the officer smelled weed and the rest is history. He was cited for possession, booked, and released.

According to the rumor mill that is.

Marshall led Auburn to an SEC title, an Alabama victory, and a spot in the final BCS Championship game--which they nearly won. He will be an integral part of the team's success this coming season so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Assuming it is true of course.
