Cleveland Indians Honor Derek Jeter With An Impressive Lego Portrait

There are so many reasons to want to be a professional baseball player. The money is good. You get to play a game all the time. Depending on your position you don't even have to be in shape, but the best reason is the league's latest trend--the Farewell Tour.

Derek Jeter is in the midst of his, and during his most recent stop in Cleveland he picked up another awesome gift.

When the clubhouse assistant manager--Wayne Peltz--is not doing his regular job he likes to make mosaics out of Legos. So to honor Jeter he did one of him hitting his first career homer off Indians right-hander Dennis Martinez on Opening Day in 1996.

If Legos are not your thing they got him a pretty cool pinstripe guitar as well:

I wonder if I'll be able to do a farewell tour when I retire from blogging....
