New York Giants Bring Super Bowl 42 Hero David Tyree Back in to the Fold

Former Giants wide receiver David Tyree will forever be known for the clutch catch he made in Super Bowl 42. Not only is it one of the best receptions in recent history for the biggest game of the season, but--well, it was one of the few catches he made during his career. As much as you want to hold on to guys that big plays like that for you the Giants eventually had to let him go.

But that's okay because now they have brought him back.

As it turns out he has been working in the league office for the last couple of years so it's not as if his status as a Super Bowl hero is what got him the job (although it couldn't have hurt). Whatever the reason, it is always good to see teams honor their past.
