TCU Head Coach Gary Patterson Fires Shots at Texas A&M During Big 12 Media Days

The media events leading up to the college football season are always fun. Not only do you get to hear straight from the horse mouth what the team is expected to look like once they hit the gridiron, but the trash talk can be pretty entertaining.

It certainly was when TCU head coach Gary Patterson took the podium--and it wasn't even against anyone he is playing!

For some reason Patterson thought he needed to pump up the Texas Longhorns fan base by complimenting their school while throwing a jab at Texas A&M:

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but Patterson might want to be a little more concerned about getting his own team together rather than throw darts at another. In six of his first seven season he led the Horned Frogs to 11+ wins a season, but the last two seasons have been mediocre at best.

In a world that looks at what you've done lately more so than the past another so-so kind of season could prove fatal for Patterson. Should he be canned he may regret taking shots at schools when he is looking for a job.
