NFL Quarterbacks Are Kings Off The Field As Well As On

Football is the most popular sport in the United States right now, as millions tune in each week in the fall for the action. Fans root for their teams, play fantasy football and make it an event. However, even those who do not follow the sport tend to recognize many of the top quarterbacks from advertisements, television and other appearances.

Being a top quarterback in the NFL usually leads to being a part of pop culture in general.

Currently, Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers are the two quarterbacks most likely to appear on a television screen at any time. They have certainly earned all of their endorsements, as they are two of the top fantasy football quarterbacks in the NFL. Growing their brand and becoming a part of pop culture allows them to be recognized nearly anywhere. That is pretty amazing when you think about the fact that they play their games with a helmet covering their face all game long.

Tom Brady and Drew Brees also receive plenty of attention outside of football. Brady has turned into a true crossover celebrity thanks in large part to his marriage to model Gisele Bündchen. They don’t appear in as many advertisements as Manning and Rodgers, but that might have more to do with their reserved personalities.

The young talent in the NFL is really starting to take over in pop culture. Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III are the biggest names right now, and they are appearing in a lot of advertisements. Staying out of off-the-field controversy seems to be a major selling point to a lot of advertisers, and that is why some are worried about some allegations thrown at Kaepernick.

Quarterbacks are usually paid the most in the NFL, and a franchise quarterback can make any team into a Super Bowl contender. It is pretty easy to see why so many people gravitate towards the face of a franchise, even if they don’t care about football.
