One of the Officers That Stopped Auburn QB Nick Marshall Arrested For Domestic Violence; Fired From PD

For Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall the drama surrounding his recent run in with the law appears to be over. His mom paid the fines for marijuana possession and tinted windows and the case was closed.

It appears that the case against one of the officers involved in his case has just begun.

Officer Christopher Rachalla was arrested Tuesday night after getting in to a argument/fight with his estranged wife at home. Contact of some kind was made, but authorities have not said just what occurred. No injuries were reported.

Whatever happened was enough for Rachalla to get arrested, and it certainly didn't help that the whole thing went down while he was still on duty. He was fired from his job following his arrest.

The two incidents--Marshall getting pulled over and Rachalla's mess--were completely unrelated, but it just goes to show that once you are tied to a public figure your life becomes public as well whether you like it or not.
