When Joey Chestnut's girlfriend was growing up she probably never envisioned that she would one day she would want to spend the rest of her life with a man that eats incredibly large amounts of food in a short amount of time for a living.

But hey--he's the champ so it's okay (right?).

The hot dog champ won the day before eating a single hot dog when he decided to pop the question to his girlfriend on stage prior to the annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest at Coney Island.
