Bellevue Police: Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch Not Involved in Assault/Property Damage Investigation in Any Way

The Seattle Seahawks did not appear worried about the investigation in to an incident where Marshawn Lynch was alleged to be involved in an assault and property damage. However, until his name became cleared they likely couldn't help but be a little concerned.

Well--they don't need to be anymore.

Numerous Seattle-area media outlets are reporting that the Bellevue Police Department has cleared Lynch of any wrongdoing in the investigation:

In the statement released by the authorities they took it a step further by adding that he was in no way involved in the incident (via Bellevue Dispatch):

"The Bellevue Police Department has determined that Marshawn Lynch was not involved in this incident in any way...."

It's one thing to be cleared by the police. That could just mean he is not getting charged for something, but was there (and could have been involved). This way it is pretty clear that whoever brought Lynch's name up in the first place was flat out wrong.
