WATCH: Indianapolis Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck is (not) Getting Too Old For This Sh*t
Matt Hasselbeck is not a young guy by NFL standards. At 38 (he'll be 39 in September) there would be no shame in calling it a career, but he has no interest in doing so in the near future. His reluctance is understandable too. Here he is playing back up to Andrew Luck for the Indianapolis Colts--which basically means he is getting a seven figure salary to practice (not bad).
Except during the preseason though when stuff like this can happen.
Overall he did not play bad (10-14, 114 yards, 1 TD), but when he takes hits like this one he has to be thinking (NSFW; mild language):
