WATCH: Texas A&M Doesn't Miss a Beat Minus Johnny Manziel; Scores on Opening Drive of the Season

There were a whole lot of questions surrounding Texas A&M heading in to this season. All of them pretty much centered around one thing--could the Aggies continue to thrive without Johnny Manziel? He did pull out a number of games with his heroics in spite of the hole the defense put the team in. Could Kenny Hill do the same?

That we don't know yet, but we do know one thing. Texas A&M looked pretty darn good on their opening drive against South Carolina.

It took A&M nine plays to go 67-yards with the last yard coming on a one-yard plunge by Tra Carson to give the Aggies a 7-0 lead (after the PAT). This play came after what was thought to be a Kenny Hill to Ricky Seals-Jones 23-yard touchdown reception was overruled and the ball placed at the one.

There is still a lot of football to be played of course, but the worst part is over for Texas A&M fans. Life will not be perfect, but it is going to be just fine without Johnny Manziel.
