WATCH: Western Michigan Defender Appears to Knock Himself Out Hitting Purdue Ball Carrier

All football fans have seen the hit that made them say something like "Damn!!!!!! That dude just got knocked the f*** out!" However, 99 out of 100 times when they do say it they are doing so in a metaphorical sense and not literal.

For one Western Michigan defender it appeared to be literal in Saturday's season opener against Purdue.

The player on the ground is senior cornerback David Celiscar. All I can really say at this point since I didn't see it happen is I hope this guy is okay.

Best case scenario? He has one heck of a headache come Sunday morning.
