Every week one of the things I intend on doing is recognizing what I like to call the Fat Guy Play of the Day. It's going to be a play that you would not expect to see someone that is gravitationally challenged make. Last week it was Ravens defensive lineman Haloti Ngata and his interception. This week it's New England Patriots defensive lineman Chandler Jones.
Except Jones has the distinction of being the first Fat Guy Player of the Week.

Why the FGPOW? After watching him upe end one of the Vikings offensive lineman and than block a field goal and run it back for a touchdown it seemed inappropriate to choose just one play to honor him for.
I suppose I could have just stuck with the field goal since big guys are supposed to knock people around. They are supposed to block kicks too, but run them back? No! Well--if it's just a few yards, but when they are this long the skinny guys need to be earning their keep.
