From time to time there are plays during an NFL game that make you proud to be a fan of the team, of the player, or of humanity in general. Then there are plays that make you want to hang your head in shame, slap your forehead in disbelief, or just turn the television off.
On Sunday New York Jets defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson had one of those plays.

Whether it's a close game or not one of the worst things a player can do is lose his cool. It's going to happen sometimes, but what's important is what you do when it happens. If it just means you talk a little trash and get in someone's face that's fine. You look like a punk, but as long as you don't get out of line with your language you will probably not get flagged.
The last thing you want to do is start throwing punches. Not only are you guaranteed to get your team penalized, but there is a good chance you will be ejected from the game.

Dumb move Wilkerson and defintely nothing to be proud of and smiling about.
