However, if a recent rumor floating around the internet is true the league mau be looking to tone down the pink.

Uni-Watch, a site dedicated to anything and everything as it relates to the uniforms worn in professional and college sports, has posted a story saying that the NFL is planning on toning down the pink next month and will be pushing camo in November in support of the troops.
The site doesn't give its source, but says that its information came from a retailer that was a part of a panel discussion for an NYU sports business class. In a nut shell the person said the NFL has been planning to ease up on the pink for sometime and that it is no way related to the recent domestic violence issues.
Umm...okay.
It's kind of hard to see where a correlation could be made between supporting breast cancer and domestic violence, but the rationale behind much of what the NFL has done lately has been questionable.
Maybe the league is worried that it will seem like they are trying too hard to curry favor with female fans, but the league has already been accused of doing that with the efforts it has made the last five years in support of breast cancer.'
So why change now? If anything this could be seen as caring even less about women. At first the league is soft on domestic violence and now it doesn't want to get behind breast cancer awareness as much as it has in the past?
If what this retailer says is true--not a good move NFL.
