The New York Giants did exactly what they needed to do in order to beat the Washington Redskins Thursday night--run the ball well and keep Kirk Cousins off the field. Intercepting Cousins four times in the second half certainly helped keep him off the field. As for the running game Andre Williams, Rashad Jennings, and Peyton Hillis (yes, he's still playing) recorded 152 yards.
After the heavy load Jennings had on Sunday the team looked to Williams a little more and he responded with 66 yards and a touchdown--his first in the NFL--on 15 carries.
Well done Mr. Williams. Well done indeed (now if only I had started you on my fantasy team...).
