What do Jim Brown, O.J. Simpson, Emmitt Smith, and Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray Have in Common? [GIF]

For those not familiar with the history of the NFL Jim Brown is arguably the greatest running back to ever play the game. Before he was a criminal O.J. Simpson ran for over 11,000 yards in the 70's. Former Dallas Cowboys legend Emmit Smith is the current career rushing leader.

All three are gridiron legends. DeMarco Murray is a fourth year player with barely 3000 yards to his name. What in the world could he have in common with them?

Sunday night against the New Orleans Saints Murray rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries giving him a league best 534 yards to start the season. With the night he accomplished something only a few players ever have:

Those three: Jim Brown (6), O.J. Simpson (5), and Emmitt Smith (4).
