When you have something like the World Series there are going to be a lot of fantastic moments. You have tons of great catches and home runs. You have some cool steals and even cooler strikeouts. You see fans go nuts in the stands for their team, a Marlins fan in attendance behind home plate, and a Navy petty officer taking his seat just because.
The list could go on and on and with the Series tied at 2-2 there will be a lot more to come, but prior to Game Four in San Francisco Saturday night the best one of the Series occurred: Bryan Stow welcoming the teams and yelling 'play ball!
If you don't know or recall who Stow he is the Giants fan that was beaten so severely a couple years ago outside Dodgers Stadium that he had to be hospitalized for months before he could even be moved closer to home, suffered permanent brain damage, and will need to be cared for the rest of his life.
So yeah--just the fact that he was able to do this was a pretty big deal.
