Clemson Fans Trying to Pull Off a Silent-Out for Louisville Game Saturday

Last weekend Tennessee fans did there best to support the Volunteers football team by turning their stadium in to a human checkerboard. On any given Saturday it is not unusual for fan bases around the nation to do something similar. The list of fan bases that have done something similar could go on and on.

This coming Saturday Clemson fans are going to give something a try that is a little different. Fans are not being asked to wear a certain color. Instead they are being asked to do something unheard of at a football game--be quiet.

Can they do it? I don't see why not. Will it be effective? Who knows, but if it works when the crowd erupts for the first time it will be an epic moment (one that will certainly be popular on blogs all over the internet).
