The Detroit Lions brought Golden Tate in to the fold in hopes of giving defenses someone else to focus on other than Calvin Johnson. If need be they believed he could fill in as the No. 1 threat should Megatron have to miss a game or get injured. Sure enough, the Lions lost Johnson early in Sunday's game against Buffalo.
So--did Tate respond?

After catching seven of nine passes thrown his way for 134 yards and a touchdown the answer is yes. However, in the process he got on the ref's poop list after his fake touchdown celebration.
Call it a hunch, but I doubt the ref found it as funny as we do.
