Against the Pittsburgh Steelers though he looked a lot more like a rookie that should be holding a clipboard.

On the day he was 22-36 for 191 yards and two interceptions; the second a pick-six in the fourth-quarter that gave the Steelers a 17-9 lead.
The lack of a running game certainly didn't help (15 carries for 56 yards) making it easy for the Steelers defense to focus on the passing game. It seemed like the play calling didn't really make use of his talents either. He was also the victim of several dropped passes and penalties making his day look worse than it was.
Bortles is the man of the future so hopefully the Jaguars don't do anything stupid and consider giving Chad Henne another shot.
Maybe with his former college running back Storm Johnson being added to the backfield field mix the two can rekindle some of their UCF-magic against Tennessee next week.
