Things did not go well for the Kansas City Royals in Game One of the World Series. Madison Bumgarner was too much, Hunter Pence was Hunter Pence, and if there was a bounce that could be misses the Royals missed it. They looked like a team that hasn't been there before and nothing like the one that swept its opponents in the ALDS and ALCS.
But there game was still much better than the Twitter game one Kansas City news channel had during the game.

Is it just me or is anyone else picturing that scene from Stand By Me when a young, chubby Jerry O'Connel asked the other guys if they want to go see a dead body?
The tweet was quickly deleted and replaced with one asking if anyone wants to see what the weather is going to be like.
Call it a hunch, but folks are more likely to tune in for that.
