Whenever you have an upset win like the one LSU had over Ole Miss it is not uncommon for fans to rush the field. When that happens it is also not uncommon for something bad to happen. So when word began to spread that a fan had passed away as the LSU-Ole Miss game ended Saturday night there was some immediate speculation that fans rushing the field could have played a factor.
Officials are no saying that is not the case at all, but that the fan died of natural causes.
