Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott Injured Against Kentucky?

Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott certainly gave the Heisman voters some food for thought when he led his team to a 45-31 win over Kentucky. His passing wasn't stellar (18-33 for 216 yards, 1 TD , 1 INT), but when mixed in with his running (18 carries, 88 yards, 2 TDs) it makes for an epic day of production. However, the problem with having to work as hard as he did is you get banged up sometimes.

When he appeared after the game with a walking boot one question sprang to mind: Is Dak Prescott injured?

At times during the game he appeared to be feeling some pain, but that's going to happen when you are in a tough one and playing hard. He never appeared as if he needed to come out so he didn't. However, when you see him in a walking boot you can't help but wonder.

He, of course, says it is precautionary only and that he's fine. He didn't elaborate and no one appeared to press him on the matter.

So--is he hurt? Who knows, but with Alabama coming up in three weeks they certainly need to make sue he is as healthy as possible.
