Police Called on Florida Football Players Fighting in Front of Stadium Monday Night

Florida football players must enjoy seeing how mad head coach Will Muschamp can get. Monday morning the news broke about quarterback Treon Harris being suspended while he's under investigation for an alleged sexual assault. Now Tuesday morning that police had to respond to reports of two Florida players fighting in front of the stadium Monday night.

As if the struggles the team is working through and the constant speculation about his job were not enough, right?

The two combatants were sophomore quarterback Skyler Mornhinweg and freshman defensive end Gerald Willis III. It sounds like some punches were thrown, but no one was hurt. No charges were filed as a result of the incident.

According to a spokesman from the team it's being treated as nothing more than a disagreement between teammates.
"Looks like a fight between two individuals, both are listed as suspect, both are listed as victims, so they hit each other," Barber said (via 247Sports). "They were involved in a fight [Monday] evening. It appears that both have withdrawn the complaint. There will be no charges."
Under normal circumstances this would hardly bear mentioning, but with Harris being investigated and the team struggling it will likely get blown out of proportion.

That being said, one can't help but wonder what the Gators have on tap for Wednesday.
