Three East Carolina Players Arrest For Riding Around Firing BB Guns; Caused Elementary School to go on Lock Down [VIDEO]

East Carolina is turning in another solid football season so far with a 4-1 record. The loss was even a solid game (33-23 to Steve Spurrier's boys). With some tough games ahead the team needs to stay focused in order to remain competitive and possibly capture the conference title. What they don't need is any kind of distraction--like three players getting arrested for riding around and discharging a weapon.

Oh--and they caused an elementary school to go on lock down.

For some stupid reason Yiannis Bowden, Curtis Burston III, and Markel Winters thought it wouldd be a good idea to ride around in a car and fire BB guns in to the ground. They must not have heard about the countless other players in recent years that have been in trouble for playing around with BB and pellet guns.

Anyway...they were spotted doing so, but people couldn't tell from afar the weapons were BB guns so they told the police three kids were riding around firing weapons in to the ground. Police wasted no time catching up to the trio, stopped them, and discovered they were using BB guns.

As a precaution, a near by elementary school was put on lock down, but it was lifted after only a few minutes.

All three have been suspended indefinitely by the team.
