Cleveland Browns Are Still Getting No Love From Vegas

The Cleveland Browns sit on top of the AFC North all by their lonesome. They've won five of their last six games. The did lose a pair of close ones to two division rivals (Pittsburgh by three; Baltimore by two), but avenged the Pittsburgh loss and blew out the Cincinnati Bengals.

They've earned the right to be called the best team in the division, but yet Vegas still thinks they are the one most likely to lose.

Here are the current odds on each team to win the AFC North:

  • Steelers, Bengals, and Ravens +250
  • Browns +300

The Browns are not far behind the other three, but you would think that the odds for the division leader would at least be the same if not better than everyone else. Of the seven games they have left there is only one that projects to be extremely tough to win (Indianapolis). Houston, Buffalo, Cincinnati, and Baltimore are not easy games but are winnable.

If they don't beat Atlanta and Carolina than they deserve to lose the division.

If the Browns had a large lead in the division the odds would probably be different, but instead they only have a half game on Cincinnati (but own the tie breaker so far) and a full game on Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

That's not much (kinda like the difference in the spread).
