Something had to be done to keep it from shutting even more.

Something was done. The team has announced that Ryan Mallett will get the nod at quarterback when the team faces off with Cleveland following the bye.In spite of his inexperience it seems the experience the team has had with Ryan Fitzpatrick is done.
Texans name new starting QB: Ryan Mallett, who has played in 5 games in his career and thrown 4 passes, in place of Ryan Fitzpatrick

The defense has kept the Texans in many games, but the offenses inability to do much has made it difficult to win games Should Mallett be able to get the ball moving the Texans could make some real noise .
