Oklahoma QB Trevor Knight Temporarily Paralyzed After Big Hit Late in Baylor Game

Saturday after the Baylor game Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Trevor Knight was spotted leaving the locker room in good spirits and walking around in no apparent discomfort. As this news leaked over the internet there were many that questioned whether he was actually injured or if he was just tired of getting drilled by Baylor's defense.

After hearing that his MRI and x-rays were okay that led to some of the haters saying even more, but as it turns out they should have kept quiet till they knew the full story (but they wouldn't be haters if they did that!).

The general assumption was that he must have injured his shoulder in some way, but it was actually his neck. What exactly about the neck has not been shared, but it appears that for short time after the hit Knight was paralyzed:

We don't know for how long and how severe; whether it was an arm or part of his body. That doesn't matter. Most of us would be freaking out if we got hit like that and suddenly couldn't move something.

So allow me to tip my imaginary/virtual hat to you Trevor. After going through that I'd be smiling walking out of the locker room too.
