If you caught the action from
Fight Night in Australia and thought you were going to see more of the same in Brazil you were probably disappointed. Five fights went the distance, two were decided by
submission, and there was a TKO and KO. That
was not the case down under at all. That is not to say there were bad fights; just maybe not the kind of stuff novices would have been too jazzed to watch. The main event for the night though, Shogun Rua vs. Ovince Saint Preux?
It sucked.

Shogun is a former champion with 22 wins to his name--19 by knockout--but the man has now lost four of his last five fights (6 of his last 9 if you want to look back further). The deciding blow in this loss seemed to be when he missed and his momentum caused him to fall down.
Preux preceded to rain blows down upon him and this one was over in about 30 seconds.
Dude--I hate to say it but it might be time to get in to something safer.
