Arizona Cardinals QB Ryan Lindley Giving Away Bibles on Twitter While Playing During Thursday Night's Game

When Ryan Lindley resigned with the Arizona Cardinals following the season ending injury to Carson Palmer he probably did not expect to play. Drew Stanton had played well in relief of Palmer previously. The team would surely turn to rookie Logan Thomas before putting him in should something happen to Stanton--but they didn't.

So imagine his surprise when his number was called. It was probably nothing compared to the surprise people felt when they saw Lindley was holding a Bible giveaway on Twitter during the game.

Right around the time Lindley entered the game this tweet was sent from his Twitter account:


From some of the reactions to it on Twitter it seems that some people actually thought it was him tweeting from the sideline or something.  Talk about a surprise, right? The fine he would get for tweeting from the sideline would make those Bibles pretty expensive.

It wasn't him of course, but just in the actual tweeter let folks know what was up:
