The Hefty Lefty--Former Kentucky QB Jared Lorenzen--Offers to Play For Cardinals After Drew Stanton Went Down

The Arizona Cardinals ended up beating the St. Louis Rams Thursday night, but they may end up being the big losers in the end. The team was already playing with its second string quarterback in Drew Stanton, but ended up playing much of the second half with a guy they just signed a few weeks ago (Ryan Lindley) after Stanton was hurt.

The extent of Stanton's injury was not announced during the game, but just in case the Cardinals need someone else a the Hefty Lefty, Jared Lorenzen, let them know he's willing to help them out if they want him.

The former Kentucky quarterback that spent a little time on a few NFL rosters tweeted the following messages after watching Aaron Donald sack Stanton and knock him out of the game:

He may not be able to scramble very well, but he could be a literal man mountain in the pocket. Good ole Jared was just playing around of course and wished Stanton well before signing off.
