PHOTO: Difference Between Current Goal Posts and This Year's Pro Bowl Goal Posts

The NFL has finally found a real use for the Pro Bowl--experimentation. Ever since they moved it up to the week before the Super Bowl people have started to watch it even though the quality of play makes the preseason look stellar. So since fans and players already don't care the league might as well experiment with a few things to see how they work.

One of the most notable changes this season will he the goal posts. The league will be moving each one in 27 inches.

During the preseason the league experimented with moving extra points back to make them more challenging. I don't know the stats, but personally I thought the idea was stupid and I hope the league does not even consider it the next time the competition committee meets.

If they really have to change something though moving the post in would be okay. Kicker will not like it of course, but the change will definitely play a factor in every game.
