WATCH: Notre Dame Beats LSU in Music City Bowl With 32-Yard Field Goal as Time Expires

Both Notre Dame and LSU went in to this season thinking they end up in a bowl game on New Years Day with hopes of playing in a second game, but instead they ended up in the Music City Bowl. From the way the two teams played, however, you would not think they wanted to be anywhere else. The two teams gave fans one of the more exciting games of the bowl season, but with one problem.

Someone had to lose.

As time expired Notre Dame kicker Kyle Brindza made sure that someone was LSU by sending a 32-yard field goal through the uprights:
