WATCH: San Diego State QB Quinn Kaehler Nails Ref in the Face Hard With a Pass

San Diego State quarterback Quinn Kaehler was having a little trouble connecting with some of his receivers during the Poinsettia Bowl. At one point he tried to hit one on a shallow crossing route, but there was one problem. Well, two actually: (1) he threw the ball behind the receiver and (2) he nailed the ref in the face.

Poor guy looked a little dazed and confused afterwards.

This wasn't the only time Kaehler hit someone with a pass that wasn't playing. Earlier in the game he threw one out of bounds and nailed a security guard:

He ended up going 11-27 for 141 yards and two interceptions in a losing effort. Navy kicked a late field goal to take a 17-16 lead and held on for the win.
