WATCH: What the Texas A&M Defense is in For With John Chavis in Charge

It has been a longtime coming, but it sounds like Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin is coming through for the fans and the team. He said he was going to land a big name defensive coordinator and if the rumors can be believed he has--LSU's John Chavis.

No announcement has been made, but Les Miles kept talking about him the past tense after the Music City Bowl, got real angry when reporters kept hounding him, Chavis' refusal to comment, and some players have tweeted their good-byes.

It may not be a done deal, but it is looking really good. Toss in the fact that LSU was only offering him $1.3 million and A&M $1.7 million and it looks like a no-brainer.
