Boston Red Sox Third Baseman Pablo Sandoval Has Great Explanation For 'Fat' Photo

Earlier this week new Boston Red Sox third baseman Pablo Sandoval became the object of ridicule online when a picture of the Kung Fu Panda looking like he ate a few pandas began to make the rounds. To be fair, he has never been in the greatest of shape and has always had some extra weight around his midsection.

This pic though shows a little more than just a little weight around the mid-section, but he has a perfectly logical explanation for it, and it is one that every overweight person should use for eternity.

We all know that the camera adds 10 pounds, but apparently the camera angle can add 50.

“Critics have said that I am lazy, that I am not working hard; that picture caught me at a bad angle, Sandoval said via ESPN Boston. But once again, let them say whatever they want to say. I will prove who I am on the field and show Boston fans how hard I am working to be a champion with this team, too.”

A bad angle. Of course. That explains it.
