Brandon Scherff's story is not unusual. A 3-star recruit coming out of high school, he was not heavily recruited, but was sought after by the two biggest schools in state, Iowa and Iowa State. Five years (thanks to a redshirt year) and 38 starts (26 at left tackle) he is expected to be one of the first offensive linemen to come off the board.
With size and strength like his I can't imagine too many quarterbacks being angry about having him provide protection.

At 6'5" and 320 pounds he has a big 'ole frame, but can he do much with it? If you watched him play at Iowa you know the answer is yes, but if you didn't watch him throw around 443 pounds while doing hang cleans.
