Looks Like the Dallas Cowboys Will Be Going Offensive Line in the First Round Once Again

Many attribute the success the Dallas Cowboys had on offense last season with the team's stellar offensive line. If the line is not able to do its job it is kind of hard for DeMarco Murray to work his magic of for Tony Romo to do his. According to the rumor mill it looks like the team will likely be looking to add another first rounder to the group in the draft this season.

What's the rumor? Doug Free is going to be released.

According to CBSSports the Cowboys have decided to void the last couple years of Free's contract.

Should this be true the Cowboys will not necessarily have to go with an offensive tackle in the draft. Jermy Parnell started five games last season when Free was injured and the unit did just fine. However, if there is one spot where depth is important it is the offensive line. So it would not be shocking if they drafted another tackle and let him and Parnell battle it out for the starters role.

Should they do this there are a number of solid options that could be available when it is the Cowboys turn with the No. 27 pick. Pittsburgh tackle T.J. Clemenings, Miami;s Ereck Flowers, Florida State's Cameron Erving, or Colorado State's Ty Sambrailo.
