Seahawks DB Kam Chancellor Rewards Fan For Being a Nice Guy

Kam Chancellor, like any member of the Legion of Boom, is known for laying some serious wood on the field and smacking the crap out of his opponents from time to time. However, as super human as his exploits may seem at times, he, like any other man, has his limits.

Recently a fan saw him struggling trying to get a frigerator in to his Range Rover and offered to help.

The father of the helpful young man recounted the tale on the Facebook page of King5, a local news channel:

My son with his "Hero" the "Enforcer" yesterday. He had just pulled into the local Lowes parking lot & noticed a big dude with a knee brace walk by with a new refrigerator on a cart. As he watched a crowd gather around, he realized it was Kam Chancellor trying to stuff the fridge into the back of his Range Rover.

Ben walked over & offered to help, as it didn't fit in the Rover, Ben offered to put it in the back of his pickup & take it to Kam's house! After help from a friend staying at Kam's house, they got the fridge in the house. The 3 of them were chatting on the front porch & my son decided to share some photos from his phone of he & his babies with their custom Seahawk jerseys & swag on. Among the pics was a short video of he & his 2 yr old son talking about the Seahawks. Ben was asking Benny who his favorite player was and Benny said "Bam Bam" After viewing the pics & video, Kam told Ben to wait for a minute while he went upstairs to get something. He returned with this GAME WORN jersey signed with "Thanks for being thoughtful!! God bless your heart!!" Signed it "Bam Bam" then autographed it too!!! This was a gift "from the heart" from a very humble, amazingly kind human being!!! Needless to say, my son was on "Cloud Nine"!!!

My son, being the kind, loving young man that he is, told Kam that he didn't have to do that, he didn't expect anything, just wanted to help out!! Kam stated that he wanted Ben to have it!! He said "that's me, that's what I do!! I want you to have this!!! And I actually wore this jersey for a game!!" As my son stood there on Bam Bam, Kam Chancellor's front porch in a state of shock holding up the jersey, he said " I have to be the luckiest guy in Seattle right now!" Kam put an arm around him and said "Good things happen to good people!! God Bless you & your beautiful family!" How amazing is that!?!? True story!!! Know my short story turned out quite lengthy, thnx to all that took the time to read it!!! Go HAWKS."
