When Seattle Seahawks quarterback tweeted about the movie 50 Shades of Grey fans wasted no time blasting him for his opinion.

Fans wasted little time blasting him for supporting such a movie (apparently some domestic violence occurs in the movie; I haven't read the book so I don't know):
@DangeRussWilson man why support that garbage?

@DangeRussWilson COME ON MAN!!! THAT MOVIE IS MORAL FILTH!!!
— PastorMatt Krachunis (@krachunis) February 13, 2015
Wait, I thought Russell was AGAINST domestic violence... “@DangeRussWilson: Thanks for the early showing of #50ShadesOfGrey. Great movie.”

@DangeRussWilson having to endorse it for the 12th man shoutout in it? It wasn't good.

@TonyMiano @DangeRussWilson, as christian we must stand for sexual integrity, that movie is not great, & no, you're not being judgmental

“@DangeRussWilson: Thanks for the early showing of #50ShadesOfGrey...Great movie.” Just lost respect for the guy usually tweeting about God.

Wilson was not going to let the haters change his mind or get to him. He is allowed to have his opinions like anyone else and to be disappointed in him or question his faith because he liked a movie is pretty stupid. Is he only allowed to see things like Russell Crowe's Noah?
He said as much, but in a nice way:
Saw a movie filmed in the town I call home. Provocative/disturbing no doubt but that does not make me less Faithful. Have a blessed day! π

Really people. You want to trash someone for liking movie? Heck, the man could have been on a date so maybe she wanted to see it. Come on guys! How many of us have seen a movie we had no interest in because a girl wanted to see it?
