UNC Head Football Coach Larry Fedora and AD Bubba Cunningham Split Bill For Damages Done After Big Win Over Duke

Beating a rival is a pretty big deal for a team. When that happens it is not unusual for their to be a celebration on the field that the other team will consider obnoxious. When UNC beat Duke last November the Tar Heels trashed the locker room and even spray painted the practice field. The team quickly apologized for it and promised to cover the cost of repairing the damages.

Well--the cost has been tabulated and the bill sent which was covered by head football coach Larry Fedora and AD Bubba Cunningham.

An additional "$4,470.00 was needed to paint the walls of the practice facility and three panels in Wallace Wade stadium that had been sprayed U-N-C. “UNC” was also spray painted four places in the practice facility."
