Should the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Trade for Johnny Manziel?

After what Johnny Manziel has shown on the field the notion of trading anything for him may seem a little crazy, but there is a method to the madness where a trade between the Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers would make sense and could really benefit the Bucs.

Rumor has it that the Browns are becoming enamored with Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota who is working out with Kevin O'Connel ahead of the draft who will become the Browns QB coach later this year.

Tampa Bay has the No.1 pick in the draft is expected to take either Jameis Winston or Mariota. If they don't take Mariota someone else is bound to before the Browns are able to pick at No. 12. So if they want him they are going to need to trade up.

Since they will not need Manziel anymore should they get Mariota they might as well dangle him as trade bait. Since the Bucs need a quarterback he could fill their need. Having played with Mike Evans at Texas A&M he would have an instant connection with at least one of his big targets.

What makes this enticing for the Bucs is that they will be in the driver seat here. They could demand almost anything and would probably get it. If they wanted both of Cleveland's first round picks, No. 12 and No. 19, it would not be a shocker to see the Browns give them up.

Yeah, that is kind of a steep price tag, but it all depends on how bad the Browns like and want Mariota. Should the Bucs get one or both first round picks they can upgrade their offensive line that allowed 52 sacks and 124 QB hits last season.

Since Manziel does tend to do his best work on the fly that may not be entirely necessary, but it all depends on whether they are going to fit the offense to him or try to force him in to a system.
