The Dez Bryant Mystery Video Saga Drags On

For the Dallas Cowboys you would think it would be a no-brainer to resign wide receiver Dez Bryant to a fat contract and make the talented play maker happy. However, for some odd reason Jerry Jones and company have yet to make the deal happen and secure Tony Romo's best wide receiver. Could it be because the team has legitimate concerns over his character still? Or is it because Jerry Jones is trying to pinch pennies at the worst possible moment?

If this mystery video of Dez Bryant doing something bad ever surfaces we may have our answer.

Officially, the Cowboys have denied having any knowledge of the supposed video that exists of Dez Bryant that is five times worse than the one of former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice. Prior to the rumors about this video there have been reports that the team is still concerned with his character and the potential for off-field issues even though he has not been in trouble in sometime.

Should this video exists that could be  problem for the Cowboys and Bryant. If the last season has taught us anything Bryant will be suspended and the Cowboys pressured to release him. Do they listen to the outraged fans or do they keep one of the most potent offensive weapons in the NFL that will get snatched up the second he hits the waiver wire?

This could of course all be a non-issue. The video was supposedly going to be released today, but now the word is that the owner has released some stills to certain media outlets and is trying to see who will give the most.

The big question of course is whether it actually exists. Word is that the video was shot by a former friend of his which would explain why this person is selling him out. That does not mean that it is real. If it was you would think that it would have been out a long time ago; that someone would have let it slip.

Maybe we will find out later. Maybe we will not.
