Jacoby Jones to Take His Dancing Shoes Elsewhere

After playing a small part in the plans for the Houston Texans for five seasons, Jacoby Jones decided to give it a try somewhere else and signed with the Baltimore Ravens prior to the 2012 season. He never exploded statistically, but he did become the first player to record a touchdown via kick return and receiving in a Super Bowl (2012).

The Ravens saw enough to want to resign him to a four-year, $12 million deal after the 2013 season, but after a poor season last year it appears they have decided to go in another direction.

Jones is a good deep threat and a talented return man so he will likely get snatched up by someone off the waiver wire. If he clears waivers he will likely have more than enough offers to sift through prior to training camp.
