As a wrestler, the Rock is a lot of fun to watch. He knows how to play to the crowd whether he is in the ring or given a promo. Those same acting chops have done him well in Hollywood making him the action hero of the day (as long as it's not a Taken-type Liam Neeson role). So when he is on Saturday Night Live it is not like having just some random celebrity on the show. They have someone who can actually act.
