Former NFL Linebacker Shawne Merriman Has Strange Idea of What He Could Do at the Veteran Combine

At one time Shawne Merriman was a star on the rise in the NFL. Injuries cut his time short though and now the former star is looking to make a new mark for himself in the WWE. However, it appears that the NFL is still on his mind. The veteran combine is Sunday and it sounds like he has thought about attending the event.

What he says he is thinking about doing will not make anyone want to sign him.

It was a mistake of course; an auto-correct gone wrong according to Merriman. That being said does he really think anyone is going to care if he is there? And ripped? It doesn't matter how built he is if his knee can't hold up to the rigors of the game.

So go ahead and crash the combine Shawne. No one is going to care.
