Frank Gore May Not Be Going to Philly After All; Indianapolis a Possibility

Over the weekend the story broke that longtime San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore was going to leave the Bay Area for the City of Brotherly Love. It was no surprise that Gore was leaving San Francisco. He had expressed displeasure with the 49ers of late and did not feel wanted anymore even though the team was publicly saying all the right things. Now it appears that he may not be going to Philadelphia after all.

Rumor has it he is getting cold feet on Philly and may be thinking about Indianapolis instead.

Supposedly Gore is now not too crazy about the idea of going to Philly and is looking in to Indianapolis instead. Word is he has reached out to players he knows that have played in Indianapolis to get a feel for the team.

The notion may anger some Philly fans, but he is well within his rights. Teams could only talk with players over the weekend about deals. Nothing binding can be done until free agency officially opens Tuesday afternoon though.

So if Gore wants to change his mind he can. Should he head to Indianapolis instead it would be a huge steal for the Colts who would love to develop an actual running game and take some pressure off of Andrew Luck.
