Vince Young's Comeback is Already Over; Denied Entry to Veteran Combine

When the NFL announced that there was going to be an NFL Combine guys like former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young perked up a bit. Having not played in a while but still having the desire to do so going through a combine would be the perfect way to prove that he still has "it." In fact, he can prove that he is better than before.

As it turns out, the comeback is not going to happen after all. Young has been denied entry to the Veteran Combine in Phoenix on March 22.

Word from his representatives is that Young was not invited to the combine and entered late. He could attend on a last minute basis (probably after they are certain no one else is coming and they still have spots available), but his rep says he will not.

While it sucks to have his career end the way it did Young has a pretty nice job with the university so it seems that life will go on just fine anyway.
