Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is a Really Lucky Guy

Aaron Rodgers is a really lucky dude. Not only does the man have a smoking hot girlfriend and a job (and paycheck) that most guys would die for, but it looks like his job is not going to get harder next season since the team decided to resign wide receiver Randall Cobb.

Yes, he makes a lot of the magic happen himself, but his job becomes a lot easier with talented guys like Cobb and Jordy Nelson to toss the ball to.

The news broke Saturday night that the Packers had resigned Cobb to a four-year deal worth $40 million. Rumor had it that several teams were going to be a serious push for him, and that he had several offers on the table that would have paid him more. Rather than go after the money Cobb opted to take a little less and stay in Green Bay.

That means that Rodgers will have one of the most dangerous duos in the NFL coming back. Last season Cobb and Nelson combined for over 2800 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Had the team not signed Cobb they would have likely looked to second year man Davante Adams to pick up the slack. The Fresno State product had 38 catches for 446 yards and three touchdowns last season. While he did look good at times it would be hard to say he would have been up to the task of replacing Cobb.
